MerusCase Hits the Big Apple

Today marks MerusCase’s first day occupying a brand new office space in the historic Falchi building in Long Island City, New York, just minutes from Manhattan.

Constructed in 1922, the building first functioned as a warehouse and distribution center for Gimbels Department store, once the largest department store chain in the country. The structure now plays host to a variety of cutting edge startups and companies, including MerusCase’s first East Coast branch.

It seems fitting MerusCase would locate its first satellite office in a historic building retrofitted to serve the needs of a 21st-century economy.  Modernizing archaic structures with the latest technology to spark growth and success matches our own values and objectives.

The new East Coast branch marks a milestone for our company as the first expansion since MerusCase sprouted in a modest, downtown Oakland office in 2008. As we grow with new clients and work to add new features to our service, including the ability to instantly file documents with federal court systems, expanding our presence across the country seemed a natural trajectory.
