Tired of that stale old blue? Try Classic Cement grey, or refreshing Purple Rain! |
MerusCase boasts a host of robust user preferences that allow the user to customize their experience -- everything between Keyboard Shortcuts, default filters and even the color of the application can be tweaked, toggled, and tinkered with to your heart's content!
While many of the options offered on the user preferences page closely mirror the customization any decent web app should provide (results per page, anyone?), there are more than a few settings intrinsic to MerusCase that are, more often than not, overlooked by our users. In particular, choosing defaults for each filter is a laughably easy task that can end up saving a surprising amount of time and, more importantly, mouse clicks -- your fingers will thank you.

The default case type for every new case can be set from the Case Details section, as well as the default tab that displays upon opening a fresh case. You can even add some handy blue links in your case activity page to filter for certain tags at a single click.
External Notifications & Email Messages contains a section to paste your email signature into, an option to determine whether the signature displays before or after any reply-to content, or if it only splashes onto brand new messages.
So each time you find yourself copy pasting an email signature, stop and think to yourself: do I have to do this every single time? More than likely, there's a setting for that. Take some time to explore your options, personalize your experience, get creative, get involved, get your hands dirty and save yourself some work.
